Pattern Review

I must say I was a bit intimidated by the patterns at first. Not that they appeared to be confusing or complex in any way but I am just not the best at following instructions. My seam ripper is my bestest friend if that tells you anything.

But Michelle, designer of Keyka Lou Patterns has created very simple, straight forward instructions for her patterns. And I took full advantage of the tutorials she posts on her blog. If you have any questions about sewing your patterns this is the place to go!

Fabric Review

I was really impressed with both bundles of  fabric I had ordered! Heidi Kinney’s fabric came directly from Spoonflower. The design was oh so cute and incredibly detailed. I just adore this print!

The fabric from Parasol Co. was a big suprise and truly amazing! Not that I wouldn’t expect amazing design and detail from Yasmine of  A Print a Day & Parasol, but the quality and hand of the fabric was really above and beyond what I had even hoped it would be. It’s super-soft. It reminds me alot of the organic collections that I love so much. They’re just softer than the others.

You’re definitely getting more than just cute looking fabric. Parasol Co. fabric delivers on all fronts. You should definitely check it out!
